My name is Amy Marrongelle. This is my sixth year at Blue Mountain High School and I am very happy to be here. I graduated from Kutztown University with a B.S.E.D in Secondary Education – Mathematics. I will be on maternity leave the first four months of school this year. Throughout the school year, I am looking forward to helping your child achieve academic success. I believe we all must work together to ensure student success; therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to address the course work your child will be required to complete, as well as extend an open invitation of communication to you. There are three basic rules in my classroom that I ask to students to follow in order to create a safe learning environment. They are:
1. Do things that will not prevent me from teaching, you or others from learning. 2. Respect yourself, others and your school. 3. Follow your student handbook.
If you have any questions or concerns at anytime during the school year, please feel free to call me at the school (570-366-0511) or you can e-mail me at [email protected]. I consider it a great pleasure and responsibility to be your child’s teacher this year. I take my job very seriously and want to make this an excellent year for your child!
